This Privacy Policy explains how Steam VPN (referred to as this Service or we) handles personal information through its application (the App). When providing VPN and network connectivity services, we process data according to this policy and take reasonable measures to protect privacy and security.

When you download and launch the App, we may collect operational data required to maintain the service, including but not limited to your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and session duration. To recommend suitable nodes, we may process approximate location information. This data is used for: 1. Node recommendation based on Steam VPN routing coverage; 2. Performance optimization through anonymized aggregate diagnostics; 3. Service communication such as security notices, account messages, or service updates sent to your registered email or account.

We transmit only necessary aggregated or anonymized data to selected third-party providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, analytics, and feature improvement. We do not disclose personal information to third parties except when: 1. Required by legal process or regulatory obligation; 2. Necessary to protect users or others from harm, fraud, or security threats; 3. Working with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. To stop new data collection, remove the App through your device uninstall process.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and a reasonable retention period afterward. To cancel your account or request deletion of personal profile data, contact [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover that such data was collected by mistake, we will delete it as soon as practical. Guardians may contact us at the same email. We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

This Privacy Policy may be updated because of legal requirements, product changes, or business adjustments. Please review this page periodically. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
